Since then over 600,000 cases have been diagnosed in South Africa, of which over 13,000 have unfortunately resulted in death. The previous edition of the O+G Forum, three months ago (issue 2, 2020), included an editorial about South Africa’s initial response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as an overview of management of obstetric patients with COVID-19. Since then the course of the pandemic has evolved and the scientific literature has been dominated by publications relating to various aspects of the pandemic and its management.enAttribution 3.0 United Stateshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us/COVID-19PandemicDisease managementPregnancyCOVID-19 in pregnancy: Update on the disease and its managementArticleObstetrics and Gynaecology Forum
